Shipping condition change in item level

Dear sd Experts

i know shipping condition is picking from VOV8 ( If not maintained here ) system go for XD01

we can see in va01-- Header level tab

And we can change shipping condition i item level also bz of in OVL2 ( Louding Group+plant+shipping condition )

now i am creating sales order with 10 line items with different plants and different shipping conditions

suppose i have created sales order with 10 line items same shipping condition will come from sales header level

Here imp thing is ITEM Level shipping cond is imp

so if i have not maintained shiipping conditin in header level also system will proceed right ? bz item level are maintained

i am not with system  to test  plz let me know

Dear Amit,

System gives priority to Shipping Condition maintained at Order Type level which we normally do in Return Order types.

If it is not maintained at Header level then system will consider the same from Customer Master.

so if i have not maintained shiipping conditin in header level also system will proceed right ? bz item level are maintained

So above statement is true.

I will suggest you test the same when system is available to you.

ok thanks for replaying me so generally system will give higher priority for CMR Only ?

if it is not maintained shipping condition in sales order item level system will flow from header level

I hope both are correct from my point of view

Hi Amit,

System will give priority to Sales Document Type Shipping condition,

Then to Customer Master in customer Master also try with testing what is the result if you SH and SP are different and they have different shipping condition.

As per me system will consider SH related shipping condition.
