Hi Experts,
I have gone through many blogs and SCN content, but got confused somewhere and need some quick help.
We are on SAP PI 7.3 SP8, so does this version
1. Support SFTP adapter?
2. Is specific license required to use this SFTP adapter?
3. Is this SFTP adapter third parties(eg AEadaptive, Seeburger), or is it SAP's
Kindly let me know asap.
Thanks!
Hi Venu -
1. Support SFTP adapter?
Yes.
2. Is specific license required to use this SFTP adapter?
No. It's part of the Security add-on from SAP
You can dowload and install - ready to use
3. Is this SFTP adapter third parties(eg AEadaptive, Seeburger), or is it SAP's
It's SAP's
Reference : download location and configuration etc
Also all your question would be answered in the below blog :

Thanks guys for your response!!
One more question, if we are trying to using FTPS as an option. I see SAP PI has a limitation that it doesn't supports implicit FTPS(using port 990).
I had gone through the SAP Note:1554886 - "Implicit FTPS is not supported by the XI/PI FTP Adapter".
In this SAP clearly recommends to use explicit FTPS(using port 21). This SAP Note is of 2011.
So, I just wanted to double check if this hold good even now. Does SAP PI still doesn't support Implicit FTPS(using port 990)?
