Locking Problem when calling Transaction from inside the web dynpro application

Hello  Experts,

Need your help.

I am facing a locking problem in my web dynpro application.

I am calling the  Transaction CU60 from a custom button added in my application.

If the user closes the browser directly when inside the CU60 transaction , the table gets locked.

Users are asked to use the 'EXIT' button of CU60 tcode, but somethimes they directly close the browser

and consequently the table in CU60 becomes locked.

Hi,

Which ECC Patch level you are on?

pass the parameter ~disconnectonclose with value 1 to the ITS service url. Then when the browser closes, automatically all the locks will be released as the sessions will be logged off.

We are on ECC6 EHP6 . I will try out the option you suggested.
