KAFD subject to AVAC?

Hi All,

I have been investigating posting statistical costs via transaction KAFD onto a WBS.  I have noticed however that these statistical costs are not subject to Availability Control.  My questions are:

1 - Is this std SAP behaviour?

2 - How to switch AVAC on to consider statistical postings?

Thanks,

Werner

Hi,

if you post statistical costs in KAFD they consume budget ( amount is budget assigned), but it is true that there is not AVAC.

if you need AVAC you can try to write line items for this statistical costs( not sure if writting line items the AVAC is checked)

Hi,

Wherever you use WBS as account assignment element, the AVAC will work if you have activated AVAC. This is system's standard behavior.

Activate AVAC- CJBV

Deactivate AVAC- CJBW

Note: Don't for get to execute CJBN(Reconstruct AVAC) after activation or deactivation of AVAC.
