Hiding the top SAP Screen Personas Bar

Hi,

Is it possible to hide the top  bar in Personas? (the bar with the  SAP Logo, "Log out" and the " Flavor Gallery" links etc)

You can run Personas in a "frameless" mode by adding the parameter "frameless=true" to the URL. The URL would them look something like:

     http://server/sap/bc/bsp/persos/mainapp?frameless=true

As well as the top bar, this also hides the right hand toolbar with the edit/record buttons. Is this what you are looking for?

Hi Guy,

Just to add to Steve's comment, nwbc.html already has this frameless mode by default.

So you can launch Personas using nwbc.html instead of index.html:

http(s)://host:port/sap/bc/bsp/persos/mainapp/nwbc.html?sap-client=XXX

Lastly, I saw one of customer using frameless prameter just to hide the "flavor gallery" from the end user. Well it can also be done using Personas permissions.

For example, if your intention is to restrict your end users from features such as flavor gallery/sharing/editing...

Try assigning a permission "33.554.433"

Personas admin can create their own permissions based on the requirement. Please check help.sap.com/personas -> Master guide for more details

using NWBC is also changing lot of styles, adding hover effects to buttons, some people might like it that way

Even it is an old post, it may be useful for someone to know that you can achieve required result by adjusting the role settings which is more secure way to limit  end user from accessing to Screen Personas Bar.

just remove value for the action you would like to remove from user access.
