R/3 - cProject Master Data Integration

Hello All,

I have a requirement of for sending R/3 customers & vendors to cProjects as business partners.

Is there any standard way for all new and changed customers and vendors on a daily basis from R/3 to cProjects business partners. I guess this could be achieved through ALE Customization.

Hi Praveen,

Steps for configuring the IDOC for Sending Customer master data from R/3 to Cprojects.

1. Define Logical Systems(Sender & Reciever) in T.code SALE

2. Assign client to sender logical system

3. Create RFC destination using T.code SM59

4. Create Distribution model through T.Code SALE/BD64

5. using WE21 T.code maintain ports for IDoc Processing

6. Maintain Partner Profile using WE20

7.Using BD12 send customer IDoc

My requirement was for every customer / vendor created in R/3, I need to create BUPA in the cProject system, so will setting up the ALE and sending customers automatically create Business Partners in cProjects ?

Hi Praveen,

I haven't tried this scenario, but i think this should be possible through Function Module or BAdi, only through work around this can be acheived.

Hi Praveen,

This could be through IDOC Customer message type DEBMAS, you can send the customer master from R/3 to Cprojects.
