Hello Gurus,

I am new to SAP coming from a non-sap background. Starting with the procurement module of SAP (SRM). Interested in knowing more about idocs, PI/XI, configuration, workflow, troubleshooting, master data and other basic terms used in SAP SRM. Can someone please guide me with any link or book that can help me understand and learn. It will be helpful if someone can guide me with topics that i should start concentrating on first.

To start with any SAP module you will find  a lot of database on the internet

Correct approach to start with is to have a hands on experience and look for your relevant question

The basic book which covers the Basics of all SRM related functions and Features is to grab the Book

SAP SRM 210 and SRM Overview Book

The list of books with thier price is as below this is the original link to buy books from .

However there are copies available or you can ask a friend who has the same .

Books related information :

http://erpexams.com/sap_srm_70_-_2009_73255769.html

Check on the link  below it will display all SRM detailed information release wise with installation and master installation guides .

http://help.sap.com/srm

This should be enough to get started then for specific queries then with the hands on real time experience you can start looking for answers which is the best way to learn .

Hope this helps !
