Registering R/3 to SLD. partner not reached error

Hello,

I am trying to register the R/3 system (4.6D) with WAS 7.0 SLD. This is what I configured

Host: ctcdspta2.mfpdev.alltel.abc.com

Service : sapgw10.

<b>Error:</b>

0: CTCDARTA2_RS5_10 : RFC call failed: partner not reached (host ctcdspta2.mfpdev.alltel.abc.com, service sap)

Does anybody know whats wrong?.

Hi Raj,

Please check the SLD setting in RZ70, make sure you have the right Host and service. Also in transaction SLDAPICUST check the SLD settings (SLDDSUSER, PASSWORD etc). You will also need to create two RFC Connections in R3 running as registered programs in JCo RFC of SLD Host.

Hello Raj

Please reference note:584654 which gives information on

the registration setup for system landscape directory.

Have you checked in transaction SMGW if the entries are maintained?

Is the Host and Gateway maintained in the SLD datasupplier?
