Page cannot be displayed while Creating Portfolio

Hello,

I have installed SAP ERP 6 EHP 6 IDES version.

I am able to open NWBC but when I try to Create any Portfolio, it says Page can not be displayed

NWBC-->Portfolio and Project Administration-->Create Portfolio

Hi

In IDES system you will see many RFC's pointing to different servers.

So when ever any call is made internally , it doesnot find the correct host and it dumps.

So chnage all the hosts in SM59 to correct host name.

Hi Jigar,

Which version of PPM is installed in IDES system..

If it is PPM 5.0. then you need to refer the configuration guide available in SAP Note 1411953.

This problem normally appears when you have not activated the SICF services relevant to Portfolio management.

I tried but it still not working.

It gives the same error.

New window opens and says Page can not be displayed.

Is any configuration is required on IDES system to create Portfolio ?

Then, have you activated the general services under

Default_Host-->sap-->Public--> bc & PPM

Hi Ravi,

In IDES all the service by default comes as Active only.

As you can see in the page can not displayed URL, it shows as New Window=X.

Does it mean some configuration is required?

It seems that this error is related to NWBC patch version & also many other parameters. Check out the below link and SCN thread for details.

Hi Ravi,

I changed the RFC's host and Created Portfolio worked.

But now I am NOT able to SAVE it, it says "error occurerd in handling of the object.
