Follow-up postings being generated for non existent condition

We have configured RE-FX for monthly as well as yearly billing. There are conditions in a contract (e.g. YLC1, YSC1, YWC1, etc.) which are of fixed nature and appear in successive periodic postings (both monthly and yearly). There are also conditions (e.g. YEC2, YEC3, YEC4, etc.) which are of variable nature and may or may not appear in a contract during a posting run. These conditions depend on external factors (like electric meter readings) and are calculated from measurement types defined against each rental object.

Now, while doing the posting run for the current year (2013-14) I have a situation where a variable condition exists which was not present in the previous year's (2012-13) run but was again present in the year before (2011-12). The system has generated a follow-up posting entry (planned) for this condition in the previous year's already posted entries (actual). This is not desirable and has to be avoided. It is happening only in the case of annual contracts while it is perfectly ok with the monthly contracts.

I have tried changing the posting parameters and have also gone through the customizing but am totally clueless as to where the issue lies. Any help in this regard would be most welcome and highly appreciated.

Thanks,

Amitava Nandy

Dear Nandy,

The mesurement might have been changed with an old date( the change in the rental object might be recently or it might be in past), in the next subsequent change of the contract it generates cash flow.

You will get a better idea by checking the cash flow, due date, change documents of contract and rental object.

Still your issue is not addressed , paste the screen shots of cash flow, due date, change documents of contract and rental object. So that we can provide you more information.

Thanks and Regards,

Chandra
