SAP on SQL 2012 alwaysOn

Hi All,

We are having SAP ECC 6.0 system with RDBMS of SQL 2008R2, this is a standalone installation on one Virtual machine hosted on hypervisor technology.

Now I need to upgrade RDBMS to MS SQL server 2012 SP01 CU7. The challenge is that we need configure disaster recovery configuration using SQL alwaysOn configuration. secondary data center is in different geographic location.

It will be of great help and guidance to me in having details on procedure to be followed for making this standalone instance in to DR capable.

Hello Harika,

First you need to ensure the minimum SPS as per note 1651862.
