SAP ERP 6.0 EHP6 RELEASE VERSION

Dear Experts,

We plan to install SAP ERP 6.0 EHP7. In SAP Official documentation, EHP7 does not offer EHP7 version fo all components, EHP7 is applicated only on central componenets of SAP like : SAP_APPL, EA_APPL... In our scenario we want to have SAP_HR, EA_HR in EHP7 version and not in 600 release (default version after installation of ERP6 EHP7).

There is any way to install SAP ERP 6 EHP7 with all components in EHP7 version with SAPINSTALL ?, and not to proced to SUM to upgrade requested components (SAP_HR,EA_HR).

Hi Tarik,

You would be installing a EhP7 "Ready" system - means its ready for more EhP7 technical usages to be installed. So you will have to upgrade the SAP_HR manually after the installation.

This is mentioned in the EhP7 installation guide also.

Honestly we are looking for a way to install ehp7 ready system with all compononents in EHP7 version, and not have to use SUM to upgrade the system.

SAP Note 774615 - Support Package levels of ERP/ECC installations/upgrades

System will be installed with release and package level mentioned in Note.

Hello

After a fresh installation only the central components will be on the EHP7 release level.

To upgrade the components like SAP_HR you need to create a stack file using Maintenance Optimizer and upgrade the other components to the desired level.
