Hi Ramesh ,

Filter settings are  used to filter a set of documents on which BOP Run can be performed . First you choose fileds eg. MATNR and PLANT and the type of documents/Order Categories  (BM , BI). Then you create variant for that filter in BOP Work list. There you assign values to theses fields and do some other settings regarding the confirmation situation and Order category of the documents . For ex Filter Sales Orders (BM) which have either "no confirmation" of "Partial Confirmation" and are for Plant L1 and Material M1  .

GATP provide you with the option of parallelisation of BOP . You can divide the set of orders selected by Filter Settings   into number chunks . Now for each of  that chunks you can perform a parallel BOP Run. Option to check against confirmation , With /Without Redistribution , Including Correlation , Rule Evaluation , Automatically including Components and Substitutes , EQAL Distribution comes very handy at times .

Sort profile consist of 'criteria' on the basis of which you can sort the items/orders in the List (Selected by Filter Settings).

Instead of SAP Standard Fields and Criteria , you can also incorporate additional Customized Fields and Criteria .

There is also a concept of "Check Levels"  for example if you want to do a BOP Check on Schedule Line level instead of sales order level .

Hope this helps . If you are looking for any specific information , kindly let know .
