Excel file lock

Hi

A more general question.

I am using an Excel file as source of my universe in IDT. This file is being pointed to in both (client and server) ODBC connections. Is it common that this file gets locked once you run a webi on this universe?

How will I be able to make any changes if the file is locked?

Hi Court,

Yes the excel file will get locked as when any webi will run on it.
