How can i customize POD and what point should I look for?

I found a document, is that enough?

Hi,

In standard SAP proof of delivery is a kind of wait acknowledgment from ship-to-party whether he has received the goods or not.

There is no configuration required only maintain Customer master shipping tab below parameters :

POD - Check mark.

days - maintain x (need how many days to confirm)

After this day (maintain above) only system will allow to create billing.

For releasing you can use T.code - VLPOD where you can mention also how many qty received by the customer and same will be billed for it.
