QA11 stock postings to reserve VMENGE05 - message M7042

Former Member

Witam,

Configuration:

1. SPRO->Quality Management->Basic Settings->Maintain Settings at Plant Level

On tab "InsLot completation" default storage location fro reserves = X

2. SPRO->Quality Management->Quality Inspection->Inspection Lot Completion->Define Inventory Postings

ForVMENGE05 (To reserve samples) movement 350 is assigned.

Step to reproduce:

QA11->Inventory postings - quantity for reserves = 1 and storage loc = X (from configuration 1)

After save I get message M7042 "Batch & does not exist".

In this storage loc X (destination sloc), batch doesn't exist, because I just want to move from source sloc material to sloc x using mov 350.

I want in QA11 change storage location and post to blocked in same time. 350 move is used for this purpose.

Mov 350 in OMJJ has shkzg = S, I don't know why in debbug I have m-shkzg = h

It looks that systme want to take from sloc X not to post there.

What I have to check to move reserves in QA11 from QM to BLOCKED with change storage location.???

....on systeme with EHP5 everything is ok, I have compared OMJJ for mov 350 in both systems, and everything is this same.

Message occurs in this place:

program SAPFM07M-> include FM07MFM0

block

  ELSE. "1296492

  MESSAGE e042 WITH m-matnr m-werks m-lgort m-charg.

  ENDIF. "1296492

Hi,

I'm not sure if I have followed your query!!

I assume you are unable to post the quantity to Storage location X. When you try to do so, you get that error.

If that is the case, I want you to check one thing.

Go to MMSC, enter this material and plant and Check if the Stor Loc X is extended?

If not, maintain it there and then repeat the process.

Hi,

Material is extended for storage location X. In MMSC this Sloc is visible.

Hi,

Can you please share the Diagnosis and Procedure  which comes along with this error. I suspect this has something to do with location extension only. I need to check this before I comment.

In the mean time, try extending this X for this batch using MSC1N and repeat the process then .

Hi

I try to do this before, but the problem is in posting side (mseg-shkzg).

System try to post from AR10 storloc, not to AR10.

1. QA11 -> post before MSC1N

Batch 3000004187 PLR1 AR10 80088522 does not exist

Message no. M7042

Diagnosis

For material 3000004187, you have entered a batch that does not exist in plant PLR1, storage location AR10.

Procedure

If this error has occurred during the entry of a reservation, you can do the following:

  • Enter the reservation without specifying the batch. The reservation can be posted on a non-batch-specific basis. The batch is not determined until the goods movement is posted.
  • If you wish to reserve a certain batch, you can call up the stock overview to display a list of existing batches.

If this error occurred on entry of a physical inventory document, you can do the following:
Do not enter a batch. The system will automatically determine all batches that can be included in the physical inventory document.

2.  MSC1N - message after extendind batch for new sloc

The batch already exists and is being extended

Message no. M3591

3. QA11 - > post after MSC1N (with batch segment)
