SAP Re-install

Hi Experts,

We are having Test system , We have removed SAP application alone from that system.DB is still existing in that server.If I goto install SAP application in that sever by using the same DB(Existing one) Which option need  to select while run "SAPINST" either " SAP application server ABAP  or System Copy--> based on ABAP"?

Which OS/DB you are using?

System copy will be used in case of export/import.

If it is a Unix based fresh installation you have to install from beginning as schema is created in oracle.

We are using Windows with Oracle 11g.

We kept DB alone while unistalling SAP appli

Hi Dheen,

     You have to choose "SAP application server ABAP" to start the installation. Whenever you are requested to choose the database, select "exist database (current database in the test system)".

Let us know if you face any error further..
