Check Plant on PPOMA_BBP

Former Member

Hi experts,

I'm on SRM 701 and ERP 604 ECS and Plan Driven.

I need to check if a WERKS from a PR is on PPOMA_BBP.

BUKRS is created in the structure and at Extended Attributes I found STORAGE at tables HRV5502A and HRV5502OT, but I haven't found any FM or table that maintain "LOCATIONS" in Extended Attributes.

I checked BBP_LOCMAP and the PLANT is replicated. I checked BBP_ATTR_VALUE_T and the PLANT is there too, but this table is not related to Extended Attributes.

Any suggestion?

Regards,

Ney Soares

Dear Ney,

In the 'extended attribute' tab(via trx ppoma_bbp), you can maintain plants by selecting 'Locations'.

Here you can set plant and company code and the source system.

Morning Ivy,

I know PPOMA and Extended Attributes. What I need is a way (table or FM to check if the PLANT is on PPOMA just like HRV5502A can be used to check STORAGE LOCATIONS. Please check the reply I gave to Vinita. That will explain exactly what I need.

Thanks in advance.

Regards.

Hello Ney,

get plant Business Partner from BBP_LOCMAP table with Plant object ID as key.

Then, through HRV5502A view, check if any entry exists for concerned location partner with subtype = '200'.

I am not clear on the query much and seem you have already tried on the possible options . Please confirm on what the issue is from the FM and tables you have mentioned you are unable to get the data ? Better if you could explain with an example .

For your ref this is the list of Tables

Table BBP_LOCMAP has the plant data stored in SRM

HRP1222 (Infotype 1222: General attribute maintenance)

HRV1222B (View of Attributes)

HRV5502A (SRM Location)

HRP1000 (Objects details_link to Code)

HRP1001 (Relationships to other objects)

HRT1222 (Table Section Infotype 1222: General Attribute Maintenance)

HRV5500A (SRM: Selection Help for SRM Function)

HRV5500OT (SRM Function (OTJID))

HRV5501A (SRM: Selection Help for Product Responsibilities)

HRV5501OT (SRM Product Responsibility (OTJID))

HRV5502A (SRM Location)

HRV5502OT (SRM Location (OTJID))

BBP_ATTR_ACCESS (Attribute Access Mode)

BBP_ATTR_DFT (Default Values of Basic Attributes)

BBP_ATTR_VALUE_T (Text for SRM Attribute Values)

You can also use FM BBP_READ_ATTRIBUTes and see table BBP_ATTR_VALUE_T.

Hi Vinita,

I'll give a simple example that can clear your understanding of my need.

You can access table HRV5502A (EBP Location) and select any plant you have. You'll have returned all the STORAGE_LOC maintained on PPOMA-->Extended Attributes-->Storage Location  to that PLANT. If you, for example, delete the Storage Location 0001 and Refresh HRV5502A, the line with the record 0001 will be excluded too.

This tell me that I can be sure of HRV5502A reflect jus what I defined on PPOMA_BBP-->Extended Attributes-->Storage Locations

What I neeed is the same for PPOMA_BBP-->Extended Attributes-->Locations

I've checked almost all the tables you've mentioned, but I'll revise them anyway.

Thanks in advance, but please take a look at my example and if that clear your view about my need, let me know anything else about.

Regards.
