Excel drivers

Hello All,

I am trying to create a basic universe on a excel 2010 file but am not able to see the objects that are on the excel doc in the data foundation layer.

What should I select the version on the ODBC Microsoft Excel Setup screen (Should it be Excel 12.0 or Excel 3.0 or Excel 4.0 or Excel 5.0/95 or Excel 97-2000).

And because my source file is Excel 2010, I guess I should be going with MS Excel 2010 - ODBC Drivers on the IDT connection setup screen.

Can someone please suggest and confirm.

Hello Chalfont,

I am not sure of your exact BO version. However, I am pasting the below snapshot from BI 4.0 SP05+ Supported Platform Guide.

You need to use ODBC driver for Excel with the following version:

Microsoft Office Excel

(Version 14.00.4760.1000)
