Selection on GLSP performance

Hey guys.

I'm having a performance problem with a full client copy with TDMS 4.0 SP05.

No time slice, no company code filtering... just a simple client copy using TMDS.

The problem is that, in a client tha is relatively small, I'm noticing that the table GLSP is taking a lot of time in the activity "data selection start for all tables". In fact this table individually is taking even more time than the sum of the other tables selection.

Is there any way to speed this selection up?

Hi,

The reason could be that the table GLSP is having huge data in the sender system. As you've taken the full client copy scenario, TDMS is trying to copy the whole data of GLSP table.

You can check in the sender system (transaction SM37) if any TDMS job is working.

Also, you can check in the transaction SM50 whether any process is working to select data from GLSP table.

If its not the case, then you need to open an OSS message in CA-TDM* component.
