Password enabled Listener causing problem during mass startup

Hi Champs,

I have installed LVM 2.0 SP03 standard edition in AIX OS . We primarily try to configure for mass start stop operation .

When we try to stop (application and database) operation completing  successfully (but listener remains running)  but when we try to start again , operation getting failed in database instance  and application didn't came up.

Issue is as LVM unable to recognize listener and cause operation fail although DB and listener were up , and we can start application separately without issue.  

Getting error due to listener .If there is any option to exclude listener or listener (with password enabled ) can be part of start/stop operation.

Need urgent help.

Hi Prabhat,

Did you get to know what was the reason that lvm was not able to stop Listener. Any extra specific configuration required for this?even I am having the same issue of listener not stopping or starting from LVM.
