MMBE stock is shown in Quality after 321 movement (UD)

Hi,

Once the UD is done for the stock, the Posting change notice is created in WM and the stock is moved from Quality to Unrestricted.

In LS26 we are able to view the stock in available (unrestricted use). This is at WM level.

At MM level in MMBE we find the stock is still in Quality Inspection.

I have heard there is a discrepency sometimes with MMBE after doing UD.

Can anyone pls tell me how we can resolve such issues.

You can Refer SAP note 48815 for the possible inconsistencies between QM and MM.

Before that, please check for the qty which is shown in QI at MM level, may belong to a particular batch/ inspection lot.

Hi Nitin,

Yes the stock in QI in MMBE is the same stock that is part of the required Batch/Inspection Lot.

The UD was done with 321 movement and the Material Document was also created.

at WM level a Posting Change Notice was triggered.

But at MM Level, the stock is still in QI.

If the movement has been triggered at WM level, why did it not trigger at MM level.

Hi,

The issue is resolved.

There is a standard SAP error when we have 2 inspection lots for the same material/batch.

Due to this one inspection lot is processed correctly and the other is not done correctly.

The stock in table MCHB was not updated due to the above scenario.

We had to manually change this in MCHB to make the settings correct
