Hello colleagues,
In SAP AFS 6.5, when running the allocation run, SAP attributes a batch number to the sales order schedule lines. This hard link will be used later on during delivery creation & cannot be changed manually.
We are looking for a way to change this batch number, as in the warehouse, one is not always following the FIFO principle. The warehouse clerck can decide not to pick the allocated batch by applying "intelligent FIFO". E.g. customer orders 10 PC. 1 full box contains 10 PC
It is thus decided at hoc in the warehouse whether one can follow the allocated batchnumber or not.
It is not an option not to use "discrete batchnumber" as we need the batchnumbers for tracing
Situation as is: Arun is master, Warehouse is slave
The desired situation to be: Arun is master, but Warehouse can overrule:
* Arun still provides the batch number for Warehouse as "desired situation"
* But that Warehouse can decide during picking not to follow the Arun, and thus overwrite the provided batch number
Can someone help me out on this topic as we are pretty stuck here.
How can we overrule this master/slave relationship?
looking forward reading your suggestions.
KR,
PEter
