wily introscope 9.1.5

HI

I want to know few things about wily introscope installtion.

1 - for solution manager 7.1 sp8 can we install introscope 9.1.5.0 ?

2 - do we need to update LMSERVICE also for this installation?

3 - is there any problem if we do the installation with domain user which have administrator rights?

anyone plz reply for this

actually the problem is i have installed wily introscope 9.1.5 and windows services are not starting.

procedure:

1 - edit installer file with correct path - performed

2 - edit EULA files - performed

3 - run installer - performed

4 - uncar MM module - performed

and windows service is giving error that i can not be started

anyone have any idea?

First check EM log file.

Check <introscope home>/logs/IntroscopeEnterpriseManager.log file or upload it as attachment.

the only file i have at this location is EMService and in this file i have these logs

1. Try to start by Administrator

2. I think you have problem with .NET, could you reinstall it.

Please check below SAP Notes for support of wily Introscope:

1868086 - Solution Manager support for Introscope 9.1.5

1565954 - Introscope 9 Release Notes

As per Wily Installation guide, common best practice is to use the sidadm user of the Solution Manager installation to install and run the Enterprise Manager.

see note   1565954 - Introscope 9 Release Notes

Solution Manager 7.1 up to SP08 only supports Introscope Enterprise Manager releases up to 9.1.0.x (see note 1868086).

I would suggest apply LMSERVICE SP4 patch5 or higher.
