Hi subhajit,
I am new for sap pi ,please let me know the solutions for the following queries.
1. while using jdbc on sender side,is it required to maintain logical system (LS) for sender system.?
2. In jdbc to idoc scenario ,how many partner profiles& ports we will create on both ecc and pi system?
3. while implementing we02 in ecc, in technical info it is showing the partner number and port which i had n't mentioned in ALE or anywhere. Can anyone make it vivid.?
I am confused of doing these things.please give me a clear picture.

Dileep
Hi Dilip...
1. while using jdbc on sender side,is it required to maintain logical system (LS) for sender system.?
If your sender system is a Business System then you need logical system..If it is a Business Component you dont need LS.
2. In jdbc to idoc scenario ,how many partner profiles& ports we will create on both ecc and pi system?
You have to create ports and partner profiles for IDOC .
Please check below for the usage of IDOC and JDBC
Thanks,
Srinivas
Hi Dileep,
1. Please check your IDOC Control records first properly (EDIDC 40). You will get the values for the partner number, type, sender system, port etc.
2. Go to ECC: t-code: we20 and configure your partner profile based on the values you find in your step 1.
3. Now re-trigger and check the results.

Hi ,
First make sure ,IDoc reaches to ECC system or not .If it reached to ECC then it is not the problem with PI.
Now in ECC WE20 check whether partner profiles are maintained properly or not .
