File to Proxy.Migration issue

Former Member

Hi guys,

we are migrating a File to Proxy[ECC] Interface from PI 7.1[Dual stack] to PI 7.31[SP15][single stack][New installation].

we are using Migration Tool.

Hence, all protocol activities are taken care of .

we are facing issue at Receiver Proxy step with below message,

1)MP: exception caught with message No configuration / default adapter specified for SOAP.

2)Exception caught by adapter framework: No configuration / default adapter specified for SOAP.

3)Transmitting the message to endpoint <local> using connection File_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: java.lang.Exception: No configuration / default adapter specified for SOAP.

Any ideas, if we need to take care of additional activities, etc.

Hi Santosh,

In PI AEX - Netweaver Administrator, have you configured the HTTP destination to SAP ECC correctly?

Did you test the connection.

Younus

Hi Hareesh,

Adressing Type = URL Address.

checking with Basis on HTTP destination to SAP ECC.

below link for reference.

Hi Santosh - Did you see any modules under the module tab?

May be try doing a cache refresh as we can process the proxy messages without configuring the HTTP destination.

Hi Hareesh,

There are no adapter modules configured in CC.

Also, we got below configs done with the help of Basis,

Configs in PI 7.31.

1. Open nwa > Configuration > Infrastructure > Java System Properties

2. Select Services tab and Filter for 'XPI Adapter: XI'

3. In the properties tab search for 'xiadapter.version.minor'

4. Change the value to 0 .

Configs in ECC system,

1)Connecting the ABAP Backend to AAE.

2)Connecting to Enterprise Services Repository.

https://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw73ehp1/helpdata/en/3b/dec6eaf3ac42fba8f92f2413ec930f/content.htm

But, still no Luck!

There should be a default module

May be create a new channel manually and see if it works..

Hi Hareesh,

Strange. This default Module is not there in my SOAP[proxy] receiver channel.

Maybe, because, channel was migrated from PI 7.11, where module is not there.

Thanks for the details.

But, do we have any module key , parameter values , etc. for same?

i shall populate the same & re-try.

Regards.

santosh.

no key's just the module entry... just create a new channel and see if that module populates automatically..

Glad that the issue has fixed. May be the migration tool might not be creating this module.

Thank you Harish/hareesh,

I have followed the steps mentioned in first link,

As ours is a Receiver Proxy adapter. Have followed the instructions mentioned for receiver proxy/HTTP in document.

Harish second link is also useful.

As i dont have access, i will be checking with Basis on the same.

But, if anyone faced the specific issue, please provide some hints. Thx.

Hi Santosh - Which addressing type you have configured in the receiver channel? URL address/HTTP destination?

I would suggest you to try configuring the URL address if not done already..
