Hello,
We have a ECC landscape with 3 system: DEV, TST and PRD.
This weekend we made a refresh from PRD to TST.
But something is not right with STMS.
My domain controler is DEV and in this moment is linked to PRD. Now we want connect TST to domain and for this prupose we did the following steps:
In TST
a) logon TST in client 000
b) In STMS we put the data for connect DEV system
c) TST system waiting for approve
In DEV
a) logon DEV in client 000
b) In STMS we approve and the system generate the connectio and for thi propose ask for user/password. We put the data and system return:
Communication Interface
USER_TMSADM_DENIED
Error occurred in TPD TMS communication
Can you welp?
Best regards

Hello,
I found the solution:
In DEV (Domain controller):
- Delete the TST system in STMS
- Delete RFC in SM59
- Delete TMSADM user in SU01 (client 000)
In TST
- STMS and connect to Domain Controller
- System ask for password then select "New password ..." entrie and put the password
- The system ask for logon in domain controler, put client 000, user and password
- System wait for aprrove
In DEV (Domain controller):
- Approve TST system in STMS
- The system ask for logon in all systems
- The system return error "Password not valid" SO THE PROBLEM IS THE PASSWORD
- Run report TMS_UPDATE_PWD_OF_TMSADM (se38)
- Select the entrie "New password ..." and execute
- System ask "Dou you want to transfer...", select YES
- System ask for logon in all systems so put client 000, user and password
- Active the Transport Routes
Best regards

Hi,
After system refresh, you have to reconfigure the STMS.
In SE06, select Database copy or migration and then perform the post installation actions.
Then it will ask to delete the older STMS and recreate the new STMS.

Hi
Better you can remove & create the STMS on TMS Domain controller again. Kindly refer the links

Hi,
Did you check these threads:
USER_TMSADM_DENIED problem | SCN
http://scn.sap.com/message/2413958#2413958
These might help you. Check whether TMSADM user locked or validity check.
Check whether the RFC's are working correctly.
