/default_host/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui
/default_host/sap/public/bc/ur
/default_host/sap/public/bc/its/mimes
Run the Tx code SIAC_PUBLISH_ALL_INTERNAL and activate all the services.

Please check whether you have maintained Host entries under hosts file
<appl server IP> <domain name>
Share details for Parameter icm/host_name_full. Have a look for SAP Note 677118 - SP31-> Fully Qualified Domain Names Check
Also check for any Proxy settings maintained under IE --> Internet options. Sometimes it's with issue of IE versions also,So please share your IE version details as well.

when I hit the "Switch to SAP GUI" option, it works but the customer does not wanna have that IE page error

Please share the screen shot of the error .
However I am guessing that you when you run any transaction included under DBACOCKPIT ( like ST04 / Db02 ) - a new IE page opens and as it cannot find the host name , it will give the above error
Do you get any option of "Switch to SAP GUI" in the error page
