We are currently on SAP GUI 7.3, patch 5 for Windows. Due to some new projects going live, we would like to distribute an updated saplogon.ini and services file to users who already have SAP GUI 7.30 installed. We would like to use the SAP installer to do this. Is there a way to create a self extracting executable from the SAP GUI installer for the saplogon.ini and services files without having it be associated with an SAP package in the SAP GUI installer? We would like users to be able to run an executable to update the files only. Is this possible?
