CommonCryptoLib compatibility with kernel version

Hi

I would install Common Crypto Lib to solve a critical problem.

I have a system with this kernel release and sp :

SAP KERNEL : 720_EXT_REL

KERNEL PATCH NUMBER : 401

I read notes 1848999 for compatibility and 1471126,510007 for

installation.

Note 1848999 talk that kernel 720_EXT_REL is compatible with

CommonCryptoLib. It seems that for install common crypto lib the only

component to update in the kernel at sp 513 is the DW_UTILS*.SAR that

contains the library.

Can Anyone confirm that I can install commoncryptolib in my kernel without

upgrading the sapexe and sapexedb kernel?

Thanks

Best regards

Marco

SAP note 1848999 is misleading since it is missing a row in the SP Patch Level table for 720_EXT. The information is there but it's not obvious. CommonCryptoLib was released for 720_EXT with patch level 513 so no, you can't just install the kernel tools you will have to update your kernel as well.
