How to unlock locked objects in ESR ? apart from adminstartion TAB option , any other options?

i need to unlock my objects in ESR . but i dont have authorization to administration tab .

please suggest any alternative ..

The link u have mentioned is working I have unlocked my objects without writing mail chains for approvals bla bla bla ..............

Hi Vin,

You can try removal of locks using NetWeaver Administrator: navigate to Availability and Performance -> Resource Monitoring -> Locks. Locks for ESR objects can be identified by lock name ( that is 'XI|REP|<object type>') and lock argument (that is the name of the ESR object, namespace and ID of the corresponding software component version).

Re Assign the object: Go to ESR change list and select the required object then give the target user name and click on transfer then that object is transferred to the required target user.
