Java Error whilsting launching Lumira

I have successfully installed Lumira 64 bit on Windows 7 (64 bit). However, I encountered Java error while trying to launch Lumira. Tried to re-install it but still no luck and no such information mentioned on web.

Any help or hints to this problem is highly appreciated. Thanks!

I Googled this, and found this:

On starting eclipse, it gives an error "Java was started but returned exit code=13&quot...

Not sure it applies to Lumira; very strange error.  Could you check your Java version and if the problem persists I recommend contacting SAP support.

Did you end up having to upgrade your Java version, and did that solve the problem?

Hi Tammy / Bijan,

I have JRE1.7.0_45 pre-installed. Tried to setup the PATH to include Java but still not working. However, I cross checked that Java is not a prerequisite for Lumira.

So to avoid mixed up, should I uninstall Java for this case?

Hi,

Lumira comes with its own installation of the JRE and needs it to operate.

No specific pre-configuration should be required for this to work.
