TCP/IP in connection monitoring

Hi All,

How to monitor TCP/IP connections from Connection monitoring in SolMan 7.1 SP08. I am not finding TCP/IP connections when configuring connection monitoring.

Only RFC/HTTP connections available

Have you able to get any details about monitoring TCP/IP. I tried using interface channel monitoring but that is not effective. If any one has guide for TCP/IP RFC monitoring please share.

I also appreciate if you could tell me way to get the email for any alert.

Hi,

RFC connection itself includes all TCP/IP, HTTP, ABAP Destination,

Please proceed with RFC connection, further refer here

Thanks for you reply.

When I am configuring, I am getting list of RFC connections, but it contains only ABAP and HTTP RFC. I am not getting the TCP/IP.

For Connection Monitoring TCP/IP connections are not suppported.

If you would like to monitor TCP/IP connections, please use the

"Interface Channel Monitoring" Application in Solution Manager.
