Masking the PCL1-TX cluster?

Hi,

Has anyone out there successfully masked (replaced the text) in the PCL1-TX cluster.

Our objective is to replace any text out there with a fixed text field.

We have setup a rule with the following attributes:

scrambling type: fixed value

fixed value: "text removed for scrambling"

we use PA0001 as the primary table but we do NOT scramble it.

table: PCL1-TX

field: PTEXT-LINE

routine name: scramble_data_cluster

is a cluster table: check

But when we run the HCM project (PA data), in the step "Verification for scrambling settings in cluster tables" we get the following error:

"Missing configuration for version 02 of RELID PCL1(TX)"

Message no. CNV_INDX222

Diagnosis:

Configuration settings for version 02 of RELID PCL1(TX) have not been found.  Without these configuration settings it is not possible to perform the conversion.

Hello Ajab,

The customization looks fine. This should be scrambling the TEXT information from PCL1 cluster. As far for your issue, note 1915270 was released for it, but it was a Pilot Release. We will release the note on monday for all customers and let you know.

Hello Uma,

We are taking over a project that had this same issue.  I tried searching for the note that you mentioned yet I can't seem to find it.  I was wondering if there was another work around?

Hello John,

Please refer to the note '1915270 - TDMS 4.0/SP04: Missing configuration for PCL1(TX) 02'.

We have released the note for all customers.
