Display a single value instead of "Total" at the header information

Hello Experts,

Within the interactive demand planning, if there is only one possible option for a drill down i would like to see this option instead of "Total" without drilling down (see screenshots).

How to display a single value at the header without drilling down?

Any input is welcome.

Hi Nils,

You can use a 'Start' macro to Drill-up or Drill-down, which will be similart to the Total or Details All functionality in the planning book.

Extract from the OSS Note 433166: When macro functions DRILL_DOWN() and DRILL_UP() are executed, the system internally carries out the same actions as when a user chooses the navigation functions "Details all" and "Total" using the header information for a characteristic in interactive planning. This also includes the execution of all default and level change macros.

Do note the additional remarks with regard to the Drill_Down/Drill_Up feature in the OSS note referred above.

The header will always be displayed as total if you have a key figure with calculation type 'N'. Refer to note 643871.

Hello Nils,

This is how Standard Planning Book layout works.

Just an alternative having a Selection Condition clearly identifying unique value of Characteristic which you want to use for Drill-down in Header section will not show "Total".

Let us say If you maintain Distribution Channel = 03 in your Selection Profile itself, then it will show actual value in Drill-down header as well. (As expected by you) which also means it does not give an option of "Total" in the Drill Down.

Hi,

A simple way is to use toggle buttons in the Header

Else you need to customize the standard functionality.
