We are rolling our current SAP footprint out to Japan, and during the requirements gathering, they have stated that they base their pricing off of MSRP. In our standard footprint, list price (J3AP - the SAP AFS version of PR00) is the basis for all pricing on our sales documents. We are still working through how they determine list price (we think it may be as a percentage of MSRP). Has anyone dealt with a similar situation in the past? If they truly want MSRP to be the basis for all pricing, are there any concerns with not using one of the true list price conditions to drive it?
Thanks in advance for your response.
