SAP ME Custom DB Scripts Execution

Hi all,

We have ME 6.1 on Windows/SQL on one server.

We have WIP+ODS on another server.

The buiness team has asked us to schedule ODS scripts

So we have installed ME Scripts also as per the inst. guide on the same server as ME. The *.bat files are available for scheduling.

Now, in the NWA configuration wizard, there is an activity called SAP ME Custom Database Scripts Execution (Attachment with detailed info).

1. Should this be executed? There is no mention of this in the SAP Inst guide.
2. What is the use of this activity?
3. Is this mandatory for scheduling ODS scripts successfully?

Hi,

That option has nothing to do with ODS scritps. It's for execution of  custom SQL scripts that can be deployed with your customization project.
