PI Directory API framework

Hello everyone,

I am currently doing some tests with the directory API of PI (7.31) and I wonder if there is any kind of CRUD framework project available for it somewhere already. So far I haven't been able to find anything unfortunately.

I also have a short question about the ESR, I have found a few projects (especially for mapping documentation) that are dealing with ESR meta data. From what it seems, we have no official API available for this but only Simple Query ( /rep/support/SimpleQuery ). Is this correct and are documentation tools like MappingMaster ( http://sourceforge.net/projects/mappingmaster/ ) based on this or are there any other ways to access and perform CRUD operations on design data in an automated way?

Hi Christian,

As far as I know there is no such API for ESR objects, though u can use simpleQuery for reading the things from ESR .
