SAP R/3 to CRM

Hi SD Experts,

Please guide me how to send the data from SAP R/3 to CRM

To create inquiry  in r/3 we are sending the data from crm to r/3 through BAPI once inquiry created in r/3 again we are sending the inquiry data r/3 to crm, while updating the data from r/3 to crm if  network  fails how can i track. we are sending the data

crm to r/3 and r/3 to crm real time.

This is purely process design/technical question.Can you post in ABAP forum so that you will get responses from the experts who already done similar work?
