Additional settings in /SAPAPO/RTSINPUT_CUBE

When loading data from an Infocube into a planning area with /SAPAPO/RTSINPUT_CUBE, one can specify "Additional Settings". These are:

1. a Parallel Processing Profile

2. Other Parameters, namely checkboxes for:

2.1. Ignore Zero Values

2.2. Values are ignored outside given time period

2.3. Load Proportional factors

2.4. Load Fixed Data

Can someone direct me to where I can find document about these last 4 settings?

Thanks.

Looks like additional features in SCM5. Do you have access to the F1 help on these fields or have you listed this from some other document?. The F1 help on this seem to be very detailed. Are you lookng for some more documentation on this?

neverthess, am copying them here, just in case it helps someone else

"2.1 Ignore Zero Values

If you set this indicator, the system does not overwrite existing values in the target object with zero (initial) values from the source.

Example

In a backup InfoCube the key figure for the forecast has no value for Product A, Location 001 for April 2005. However, the planning area does. If you copy data from the InfoCube to the planning area, the existing will be overwritten with zero, which effectively deletes the value. If you set the indicator, this does not occur.

2.2 Previously, if you chose to copy data from an InfoCube with a finer periodicity than the target planning area, the system would copy all the data that corresponds to the period in the planning area.

If you set the indicator, only the data in period specified is copied from the InfoCube. The value for the shorter period from the InfoCube is assigned to the whole (longer) period in the planning area. Note that this can mean that if you subsequently disaggregate on a time basis to shorter period, for instance by copying the data to another planning area or releasing it to SNP, the data may be different to that in the InfoCube.

2.3 If you set this indicator, the system also copies data for the proportional factors from the infoCube to the specified key figure in the planning area, usually APODPDANT. It is also possible to copy data from another key figure to the proportional factor.

You should only load data for the proportional factors to the detailed level in the planning area, that is, you have selected all characteristics (not attributes) in the grouping conditions.

2.4 - If you set this indicator, the system also copies the fixing information from the infoCube to the planning area.

Dependencies

If you propagate fixing information in the planning area, you should only copy data to the detail level.

If you do not propagate fixing information in the planning area ('old' fixing logic), you should only copy data to the detail level or to persistent aggregates"

sorry guys I pressed F1 with the focus on the text aside the check boxes, therefore I couldnot see the help.

Thanks

Hai,

Please take a look at the note 428102. It explains points 2.1 and 2.2 not the rest though.
