Dear Colleagues,

Is there a way to find out concurrent numbers logged into HANA Studio?

Further are there any default scripts to get user related details (history for concurrent users)?

Thank You.

Warm Regards,

Harshad Mishrikotkar.

Hey Harshad

You may want to have a look into my session http://events.sap.com/teched/en/session/8596

In there I explain what the APPLICATION* context variables are for and that's where your question is answered...

Thank You Lars...

I just want to know how should I fetch Application* context variables for period prior to 24 hours?

I can see currently the result for only last 24 hours.

Is there a view where all the application* variables are stored?

Thank you.

Warm Regards,

Harshad Mishrikotkar.

Hello Harshad

The APPLICATION variables are additional information belonging to a session.

HANA doesn't keep track on who logged on, how often and for how long.

You will find the variables also in some monitoring views (e.g. m_expensive_statements) and the audit log  but there's no "session-history-tracking" facility as such.

Hi Lars,

Thank you for your reply.

I just wanted to understand what will the session tab under performance of HANA studio exactly shows? I could infer that it shows the statistics for last logged in SAP HANA user either from R/3 or from Studio for last 24 hours. However, I keep on refreshing and see that the number of records getting decreased/increased at times. Please let me know if I am wrong what exactly the session tab shows.

Thank you.

Warm Regards,

Harshad.

Hi Harshad,

You might want to have a look on this View "SYS"."M_CONNECTIONS"

You are mentioning about the time and concurrent users connecting a particular database right?
