SAP GUI Property Collector not working for NWBC

Hi there,

I have a strange issue. At a client I work for we have enabled scripting on the server (ERP 6 EHP6 with NetWeaver 7.31). In my SAP Logon (7.30) I have enabled scripting (on both pc's).

Now, when I launch the SAP GUI Property Collector on my laptop (Win8.1) this works just fine. However, when I do this on my (Win7) pc at home (I'm working remote today), it fails but only for NWBC (so it works fine for SAP Logon):

sapgui/user_scripting = TRUE

sapgui/user_scripting_disable_recording = FALSE

sapgui/user_scripting_force_notification = FALSE

sapgui/user_scripting_per_user = FALSE

sapgui/user_scripting_set_readonly = TRUE

I have checked the security guide (as per http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-4611) as well as the Manual (SAP GUI Property Collector > Help > Manual), the latter just states:

but the comment "please read Help" part doesn't really work for me.

Does anyone have a clue as to where it goes wrong?

Obviously I have a work around (do the property collection via my laptop), but I would like this to work on both pc's (so I don't have to switch back and forth depending on the task at hand).

Nope, I still have to do that on my laptop (where some other SAP software won't work, e.g. BEx Analyzer).
