VC material change log

Hello Friends we are building somthing for which we require change log for any change in the characteristics value selection in a variant material for a sales order.

This doesnt get updated in CDPOS and CDHDR. if anyone has a clue regarding the same please do assist

I found the solution its function module

IBCD_GET_CD_CONFIGURATION

CUOBJ from VBAP please use it in the function module stated above

CHANGENR=VA02  where look for C(change indicator)=D

ones with D are the changes made .

If you are saying material variant there are no as such changes possible in sales order as material variant are set configuration of a configurable product.

please provide some more details what you are looking for and I will try to help you.

Thank you for your time,

I have created a configurable material with mulitple characteristics.

If I select particular values for the characteristics and save the sales order upon changing the same again where wiill the change be recorded(like a change log)
