Hello,
I get following error when I go to
DB01 --> Performance --> History -->Double Click on Databases
Error :
SQL0206N "MEMBER" is not valid in the context where it is used. SQLSTATE=42703
system : SAP BW 7.3
database : DB2
Regards,
Jigar
Hi,
Yes, this problem occurs when in ST04(Database Performance) Transaction
you select --- > "Performance -> History -> Database".
There are specific SAP Notes that could help you out here, but first of all...
1. Are you operating on the server where your CI-Central Instance (i.e, with the Enqueue)
is located? This usually occurs on non-CI based servers. However, these SAP Notes gives
more light on how to circumvent such a situation
2. Check if you have already implemented SAP Notes 456402 & 1738381
3. Check your current Trace file (ST11) - If you can find error messages on
SYSTEM_NO_SHM_MEMORY if yes, then I would suspect a Memory issue.
In this case set the parameter 'bap/shared_objects_size_MB' to a higher value.
Also,
A) Check SAP Note:1697515 - Inconsistencies in OS monitoring
B) Check SAP Note: 1147334 - CPH activation of OS data for SAP Remote Services.
C) Check SAP Note: 1630506 - DB6: History management of monitoring data
