2 step picking error

standard SAP for 2 step picking is picking from bins to 200 for 1st TO and then 200 to 916 for the 2nd TO.

However, what's happening in my system is for the 2nd TO, the system is picking from bins to 916 instead of 200 to 916 interim.

Any idea on this?

Hi,

Have you activated the 2 step picking in customizing for your warehouse number?

If so, have you defined the 2 step picking as material-dependent? In this case check the material master data

Also 2 step picking was activated in material level in MM02 as well.

the first step of 2 step picking (First TO) is correct (Bins to 200) but the second TO created is from Bins to 916. It should be 200 to 916.

any idea on this?

Dear Nel ,

For allocation TO  you need to have appropriate removal strategy with storage type as 200  .

Please check config for 2nd step TO creation  and let me know .

Hi All,

I was able to correct this by checking the Material Master.

because the 'Stock removal' is populated by removing from Storage Type 001. the system always picks from 001 in the 2nd TO.

we removed it and it works fine.
