Auto assign user ID in ACL of Project Definition

Hi Experts,

Can anyone please suggest, how to auto assign user IDs in the ACL of project definition at the time of creation of project? I believe its not possible in standard, but is it possible through any enhancement?

Hi,

I am not sure, but let me give this a try.

Execute SFW5 and activate business function "OPS_PS_CI_1". Take a help of BASIS/ABAPER if required.

Then, if you check project profile OPSA. There you will options to bring on radio buttons for ACL against your project profile.

But wait for other experts to comment on this.

ACL is activated in the project profile, but the requirement is to auto assign few user IDs during project creation with inheritance.

DO you mean that user connected with user AAAA  the system understand that is creating the project with user BBBB

Which is the business requirement to this "enhancement"? It is possible we can propose you alternatives,

Hi Clara,

The requirement is that say user A create a new project and user B has to release that project and user C has to do the budgeting. Then user A by default becomes the ADMIN in ACL of that project and that user A has to add manually user B and user C in the ACL of the project. So the requirement is that whenever user A is going to create a project, system will automatically add user B and user C in the ACL of that newly created project as often users forget to add user ID in the ACL of the project.

Simplest soltution for the above scenario would be to create a user group for user B,C.. and this should be added by user A as a one time activity while creating the project.

Does the group user require valid licence, if the licence has to be purchased then it will become a costly affair.
