send mail to specific partner/user/address through action

Hi all,

I am trying to create an action for a service desk message that should send a mail to a specific address (or user or business partner). The recipient of the mail should not be determined from the message! It is not a business partner who holds a partner function of the message!

I created a Z transaction type as copy of SMIN and a Z action profile as copy of SMIN_STD.

There, I copied the action SMIN_STD_MAIL_PROCESSOR, unchecked the box "partner dependent" and in the condition definition set the address (in view "processing details"). However, it does not work... any help?

What is the error message are you receiving?

Can you check in the incident if the action got scheduled and started?

Hi Jagadish,

nevermind - it seems to work now... I tried with /$SYNC and restarted the browser, sometimes it seems to take some time for new customizing to load...

Hey Kamil,

thanks, but the problem seems to be solved - it must have been due to the old customizing still set in the puffer or something...
