Hi Sumit,

Goods receipt and Outbound delivery concept is same for all industry refer below detail on the same ...

A goods receipt is the physical inbound movement of goods or materials into the warehouse. It is a goods movement that is used to post goods received from external vendors or from in-plant production. All goods receipts result in an increase of stock in the warehouse.

The following kinds of goods receipts are considered in the SAP System:

·  Goods receipt with reference to a purchase order

·  Goods receipt with reference to a production order

·  Goods receipt with reference to a delivery

·  Other goods receipts (without reference)

The outbound delivery is a document representing the goods to be delivered together to a goods recipient.

The outbound delivery is used as the basis for printing the delivery note or for sending a shipping notification.

You can execute the following actions using this document:

●  Posting a goods movement

●  Canceling a goods movement

●  Setting the status Leave Yard

You can save, process, delete and archive an outbound delivery.

Hope you will find it useful....
