The value of Database used memory appeared in HANA Studio and that in ERP DBACOCKPIT are different

Hi expert,

I constructed ERP on HANA by using DMO of SUM.

Now , my system is SAP ERP 6.0 EHP 7. And my DB is SAP HANA SP7 rev70 .

I checked Database used memory in HANA Studio.

And I checked that in ERP DBACOCKPIT.

I found that the value of Database used memory are different !

The value in HANA Studio is 152.58G.

The value in ERP DBACOCKPIT is 179.75G.

Allocation limit is 178.94G.

So I guess wrong value is in ERP DBACOCKPIT.

But I don't understand why the value of Database used memory are different .

Please tell me why the value of Database used memory are different and what should I do .

Hello,

Please refer to SAP KBA 1840954 which clearly states that DBACockpit does currently not consider shared memory as part of the resident memory, hence the difference to what HANA Studio reports.
