VA02/03 all sales orders header records lost

Hi,

The system loses all sales order header data except document number and document date of sales orders created years before 2014. The document dates are all changed to 2008/09/17 except documents created in 2014. VBAP and the following documents such as delivery and billing are not affected. What's the possible reasons?

Well what you are describing is very strange.

Which environment you are talking about ?

Has anything being Archived ?

Yo can check with Basis team on this.

Hi

Did you check with your BASIS guy how VBAK table got updated? Ask him to check the log.

Can you check sales orders in VA03 and what information is there in header fields?

Hi,

These documents are not accessible using VA03. At VBAK, only document number and document date are filled and all document dares are 2008/09/17.

This is first time I am listening this behaviour of system. Did you check with BASIS guy or checked any change log in table CDHDR.

Unfortunately, CDHDR didn't log changes for those sales orders. There is still no clue for solution.

Hi

Since this is in your test server so it could be because of some testing done by your ABAPER or BASIS guy. It sounds impossible that without updating some table system changed the values automatically. I am again suggesting you to check this with your ABAPER and BASIS guy. They might have run some upload or schedule job etc which effected VBAK table.

Did you check with ABAPER and BASIS or are you beating your head against the wall alone??
